Sunday,evening June 6
Welcome Reception of Conference
Our program begins at the welcome reception of conference. Please come and meet the other attendees as well as the Partners Program co-chairs, Reiko Matsuda and Sachiko Tanjo, who will hand to you the Partner tour attendee name plate, guidance and receipt at 1F lobby of hotel Fujita at 5-6 p.m on June 6th or at 9-10 a.m. on June 7th.
Monday, June 7
Traditional Kyoto Experience:Kiyomizu-dera
Time Schedule : 9:40 - 16:30

Kiyomizudera, the “Pure Water” temple, founded in 798 with its present buildings constructed in 1633, offer great views of the city of Kyoto from its main temple. Then we will go to the nearby Kiyomizu pottery district where you will have a choice of forming or painting your own pottery piece. If you wish, your pottery can be finished in a kiln and sent to you in 3 months.
Tuesday, June 8
NARA Historic Tour; The Great Buddha of Todaiji, Toshodaiji, & Suzaku-mon
Time Schedule : 8:40- 17:00
Nara, founded in 710, was the capital of Japan before Kyoto. The Suzakumon gate was recon-structed this year in celebration of the 1300 year anniversary of the city. The highlight of the tour is the Great Buddha at Todaiji temple, housed in the largest wooden building in the world, constructed in 751. We will also visit the nearby Toshodaiji temple, founded in759 which contains many classic Buddhist temple structures.
Thursday, June 10
Kyoto Nature Tour:Arashiyama
Time Schedule : 8:40 - 16:30

This tour features a ride on a narrow-gauge railroad along the banks of the scenic Hozu River and then a boat ride down the river to the “bamboo district” of Arashiyama.And then you will enjoy a walking tour of the many traditional shops in this area.
If you'd like to go back by train from Kameoka, it is also OK and enjoyable the sight seeing. After lunch, we move on to Nishijin Textile Center, in which you can see Kimono show and many kimonos.
Friday, June 11
Heian Shrine and Kyoto Handicrafts Center
Time Schedule : 8:40- 12:00
This half-day walking tour visits the classic gardens in the Heian Shrine, famous for the early June blooming of many iris plants. Then we move on to the nearby Kyoto Handicraft Center, which contains many types of traditional Kyoto crafts for sale, including live demonstrations of wood block print making, where is the perfect place for authentic souvenirs.
Have a good time in Kyoto.

The fee for the Partners Program is JPY 30,000. It covers all Partners Program events (Traditional Kyoto Experience, Nara Historic Tour, and Kyoto Nature Tour). Heian Shrine and Kyoto Handicrafts Center Tour is free. The fee does not include lunch. To pay the fee in advance through web site, you should ask someone of regular participant to pay the Partner Program fee in the registration procedure. And registration ID number of the regular participant should be notified with this form. The registration site can be logged in from following URL.

| Attention Please note that the fee for the Partners Program does not include social programs (reception on Sunday, excursion and banquet on Wednesday). If a partner attends social programs, the fee of Accompany person must be paid. |
